Errr..... In my enthusiasm for the dress making party, I forgot that my daughter has her debut in the world of theater the same night. So, in effort to be a good mother, I have to postpone the dress party. Here's the new plan:
Dress Making Party
THURSDAY, JULY 1 at 7 pm at my house
What to bring:
sewing machine
thread
men's dress shirt (the bigger the better) You can pick one up at DI for about $4
3/8 in. elastic (just buy one package, though you probably won't use it all on one dress)
ribbon or other thing you might want to use to embellish
Dress that fits your daughter, to model the pattern after
That's it! Hope you can make it. Please let me know if you plan on coming.
