Candy Corn Wreath

Here's a true story my husband brought home from work: One of his male co-workers went home and his wife had purchased a ceramic bunny from some expensive store.
Husband: What's this?
Wife: An Easter decoration. We don't have any Easter decorations.
Husband: But we don't have any money!
Wife: But we don't have any Easter decorations!

That, my friends, is the reason I rarely decorate for holidays. I can understand spending money on permanent decorations for your home, but have a hard time with the ones that are only there for a few weeks.
That being said, I have felt a little envious of all my neighbors with their cute fall decorations lately. So when I was standing in line at the grocery store and saw this, I decided it was cheap enough and cute enough for me to use this fall. Introducing the Candy Corn Wreath!

Simple to make-- you only need a glue gun, a wreath, and candy corn. Lots and lots of candy corn! This photo is misleading, as I ended up using about 5 bags of the stuff.

I look forward to candy corn every Halloween. They are so cute, sweet, and the bright colors just make me happy.

They don't together perfectly, but the end result is still good enough to eat!

Happy Halloween!
